The Blasphemous Blade is a unique Weapon in Elden Ring. It is a Greatsword where you cannot apply Ashes of War nor Incantations on it. How to Get the Blasphemous Blade in Elden Ring
The process of getting the Blasphemous Blade in Elden Ring is pretty long. Being time-consuming, you will also have to defeat a Boss who is not easy to deal with. To get the Blade, you will first need to get Remembrance of the Blasphemous. It is a tradable item that will get you the Blasphemous Blade. To get the Remembrance of the Blasphemous, you will need to head towards Mt.Gelmir. From there go to Volcano Manor where you will find Lady Tanith, an NPC that will grant you a Quest. Talk to her and exhaust her dialogues till she gives you directions and quests. After talking, she will give you a Drawing-Room Key. This will allow you to open up the Drawing-Room where you will be able to talk to more NPCs.
Volcano Manor Request Boss Fights
In the Drawing-Room & on the Table, there will be a Letter from Volcano Manor. Pick it up and talk to both NPCs there. Now on the Map, there should be a small Red Marker that says Volcano Manor Request: Istvan in North of Stormhill. Go there and you will see some Red text like Ruins on the ground. Examine them and you will be teleported to Istvan’s World. There you will have to defeat him and then go back to Volcano Manor and talk to Lady Tanith and the other two NPCs if they are there.
Make sure to exhaust their dialogues as they will reward you with some good Items. You will have to repeat the same process for Rileigh in Altus Plateau & Juno Hoslow in Mountaintops of the Giants. Finally, head back to Lady Tanith and speak to her. In this conversation, she will ask you to meet her Lord. The answer for that is Yes. After which you will be teleported to a Cave where Rykard, Lord Of Blasphemy resides.
Getting the Blasphemous Blade in Elden Ring
This will be a major Boss battle so make sure to invite your friends as it is going to be tough to beat it. After defeating Rykard, Lord Of Blasphemy, you will get the Remembrance of the Blasphemous. Again, go back to Lady Tanith and speak to her. After that, go to the Roundtable Hold. Over there you will find Finger Reader Enia in one of the Rooms. Interacting with her will give you some options of which Receive power from remembrance will be one of them.
Upon clicking it, you will be given the option of either getting the Blasphemous Blade or Rykard’s Rancor. Select the Blasphemous Blade and acquire it. And that’s how you will obtain the Blasphemous Blade in Elden Ring. Now with this Greatsword, you will be able to deal with enemies with ease. This is because of the Blade’s Skill that Steals life, Health points in this case, from enemies and replenishes yours. You will be able to make it better by upgrading it with Somber Smithing Stones.
