How To Become A Confidential Informant in BitLife
Once you have joined Mafia, go to the jobs tab and then select an option to become a confidential informant. If you do so, you will get to meet the authorities and volunteer to be a confidential informant against your Mob Family. Tapping on that option will show you a message explaining the entire process of becoming a confidential informant in BitLife.
The first and foremost thing you should keep in your mind to become a confidential informant in BitLife is you only have four years of time, which is too short in the game. During the said period, you will have to gather enough evidence against your Family.

Once you have accumulated sufficient evidence against your Family, you will enter the Witness Protection Program and get rid off of Mafia. It should be noted that you will have to collect all of the evidence without getting caught or else your status as a confidential informant will be sacked.
In order to gather evidence against a particular member of your Mafia family, you will need to select him or her from the list. You will see an option which says, Snitch: Collect evidence against him/her. Doing this, you will be shown a message, asking if you really want to collect evidence against your family member. There, you will see a Confidential Informant progress bar, which you will have to fill completely for a solid case against your family.
