Baldur’s Gate 3 has many adventures and finding a Owlbear Egg is one of them. BG3 Owlbear Egg Multiple Choice Answers
Owlbear cave is located towards the north of the Blighted Village. Refer to the map location image above, just follow the path and you will reach the Owlbear’s cave mouth. The cave has one fully grown-up Owlbear and a cub. Owlbear’s Egg is placed in the same cave but you will have to deal with the creature before taking it.
Whatever dialogue choices you pick at the end you will have to kill the Owlbear and take the Egg. Once you are inside, a cutscene will start where you will see the mother guarding her son. You will have four options, first to provoke the beast to attack, second to walk away, third to instigate the animal and fourth just attack. Owlbear will do nothing if you walk away, but if you move closer it will attack. Just kill the beast and grab the egg. If for some reason you are not able to take it leave the cave, do a Long Rest, and return back. You can then steal the egg.
Should You Give Owlbear’s Egg or Not?
Giving Owlbear’s Egg to Lady Esther will unlock a Gold Reward. From the dialog when you choose to give Egg, she will question if this Owlbear’s Egg is original or not. You have to spend some on persuasion and deception dice to make her take the Egg.
Lady Esther will give you 274 Gold if you are able to trick her into taking the egg. Owlbear’s Egg can also be used for crafting and as a camp supply. It brings in 40 camp supplies. But it is best to sell it off as it brings in a high amount of gold. Some vendors in the game can reward you with more than 700 Gold for the Egg. Before this, you will have to instigate Lady Esther for battle, and she will drop the gold pocket and some blue items.
The choice of giving Owlbear’s Egg is best when it is sold to vendors. You can explore the region near the village to find some of them and check the value they are offering. Sell it to one that offers the highest Gold and use it to buy one of the best armor and weapons in the game.
