Published Date :

Battlefield 2042 is out and there are many different vehicles and aircraft that you can take on the field for battle. And one such aircraft is a Jet. There are two different jets in this game, they are the Russian SU-57 Felon and the American F-35E Panther. But whichever jet you choose to fly, you need to learn the basic controls of it. So in this guide let us take a look at how to fly a Jet in Battlefield 2042.

How to Fly a Jet in Battlefield 2042

There are three basic things you need to know about when flying a Jet in BF 2042.

  • Take off
  • Turn using a Roll
  • Landing

And while the above things are helpful in controlling your Jet, there is another vital control that you should learn when flying a Jet. That control is how to fire weapons.

How to Takeoff Jet in Battlefield 2042

Taking off is fairly simple, you need an open space to use as a runway. All you have to do is move the left joystick forward on your controller or press the W-Key on your Keyboard. This should help you accelerate the Jet. Once you catch good speed move the joystick back to lift or take off the jet. PC players can press the S-Key on their keyboard to do the same.

How to Perform a Roll in BF 2042

To perform a roll you need to move the right joystick of your controller to either left or right depending on where you wish to roll. As for PC players they can press the left tab-Key on their keyboard to do the same. Learning to roll is important as it can help you turn your Jet.

How to Land

Before you land you need to make sure that you find an open land that is relatively empty and clear. You can land by moving the left joystick down or pressing the S-Key on your Keyboard.

How to Use Weapons and Fire in Battlefield 2042

You can fire by pressing the R2 button on PlayStation, or the RT button for Xbox. As for PC players they can do that by pressing the space button and using the left mouse button.

That covers everything you need to know on how to Fly a Jet in Battlefield 2042. If you enjoy playing this game then be sure to check our other guides on how to deploy a bipod and learn to fix the player removed from game error in Battlefield 2042.
