Best Things to Smith for XP & Profits in Runescape
In Runescape, Smithing has 99 levels. At each segment of the 99 Levels, Smithing certain Items will get you more XP than others. So here is the Breakdown of the Best Things you should Smith in Runescape.
- Bronze Items for Levels 1-30.
- Steel Bars for Level 30-50.
- Mithril Bars for Level 50-70.
- Adamant Bars for Level 70-85.
- Rune Bars for Level 85-99.
These are the Items that you should focus on as you are grinding for that XP while Smithing in Runescape. For Levels 1-30, you can alternatively do The Knight’s Sword quest. this will take you to the upper limit at a faster rate but you will gain less money out of it. For Levels 30-50, Smithing Steel Bars are the best for Profits & XP. Go to the Blast Furnace in Keldagrim and begin your grind there.
Making Steel Bars also teaches the player how to make better Ore Bars. This will eventually help in making Mithril Bars for Levels 50-70. For Steel, you needed 27 Coal & Iron Ore but for Mithril you will need 54 Coal & Mithril Ore. Do the same as you would with Steel but double the Coal amount to smelt Mithril at the Blast Furnace. The process is the same for Adamant Bars but this time you will have to use 81 Coal or triple the amount of Steel Bars. Finally, Rune Bars will need 108 or 4 times the amount of Coal required for Steel. Do these and you will max out your Smithing Level in no time.
