While the Forza Motorsport car list houses almost 500 cars, at the start, you will be given the choice between 2018 Ford Mustang GT, 2018 Honda Civic Type R, and 2019 Subaru STI S209. While it does come down to personal choice, the best Starter car in Forza Motorsport is the 2018 Ford Mustang GT.

While 2018 Ford Mustang GT and 2018 Honda Civic Type R are quite similar, the 2019 Subaru STI S209 focuses a lot on driveability. On the other hand, the Ford Mustang and the Honda Civic are quite faster. The 2018 Ford Mustang GT is the fastest among the three but is quite difficult to control on corners so it’s not a beginner’s car. Additionally, the Mustang also has a Rear Wheel Drive so there are chances of oversteering and some drifts that players will have to control.

Since driveability means giving up on speed, it’s not a choice I would want to make. However, if you are starting out in the game and have no prior experience with racing games, the 2018 Honda Civic Type R is an elegant choice. While it does have Front Wheel Drive that has minor risks of an understeer, it’s a far better choice than simply relying on the driveability of the 2019 Subaru STI S209.

That’s all we have on the starting car that players should choose in Forza Motorsport. If you found this guide useful, do check out our Forza Motorsport dedicated section for more such guides here at Gamer Tweak.
