Diablo has been designed in such a way that no matter which class you pick if played well you should be able to complete this game alone. While most veteran players can do this with ease if you are a new player you would like to stick to some classes. So here are my top 3 classes if you want to play solo.
Barbarian – Best Solo Class D2R
Barbarians are a fun class to play in D2R. Especially if you like killing your enemies up close and in melee fashion. One of the best things about this class is they are tanky and hence have good durability. An underrated feature is that you can wield weapons on both your hands. And not to mention you can use Warcries to buff up your character’s attack and defense.
Although, there are some drawbacks too. The first is you will need to farm a lot. Secondly, you will also need modifiers like life steal. And lastly, you should be aware of hidden mechanics like whirlwind damage to be able to manage a hoard of enemies. Sorceress

She is strong enough to use magic spells that use the elements Fire, Ice, and Lightning. And on top of that, she gets a Teleport ability. So if you ever find yourself about to get surrounded by a hoard of enemies you can create some space to strategize. Necromancer – Best Solo Class Diablo 2 Resurrected
Want to play solo but don’t really like the idea of playing alone? Necromancer is the class for you. This class is famous for having the ability to summon Golems and other minions while fighting. One of the notable skills of this class is the Corpse explosion. You can use this skill to take out hoards of enemies in an instant when executed correctly.
When considering this class to go solo with, there are two recommended builds. One is the Summonmancer build which lets you summons golems, mages, and undead soldiers. And the exact opposite build of this is the Bonemancer. When using Bonemancer you get to use spells like Bone prison and different other curses to defeat your enemies.
