Warzone 2: Best Shotgun In Season 1

Updated Date :

SMGs are considered to be the most reliable option while engaging in close combat. Another weapon that is truly made for short-ranged battles is Shotguns. They are extremely powerful when it comes to a battle when the enemy’s home. One may surely require high-precision aiming, but its one shot is more than enough to penetrate a Level 3 Armor. Warzone 2’s maps contain several corners, no wonder you may find an enemy tucked in any of them. Moreover, it becomes a close war as the circle closes in. As we all know that COD games are known for their wide range of weaponry, and players may get confused about which Shotgun to use. Well, don’t worry, this article got you covered. Read till the end and know the best Shotgun to use in Season 1 of Warzone 2.

Best Shotgun to use in Season 1 of Warzone 2 (Lockwood 300 vs Bryson 800)

Best Shotgun In Season 1 of Warzone 2

There are 4 Shotguns in Warzone 2 which includes Lockwood 300, Expedite 12, Bryson 800, and Bryson 890. A Shotgun should be ideal in recoil, mobility, spread control, and of course damage to be able to call the best one. The two best Shotungs that have made it to this list are Bryson 800 and Lockwood 300. There’s a chance that there may be further additions made to the weaponry. Hence, let us take a look at the stats of these 2 best Shotguns to use in Season 1 of Warzone 2.

Lockwood 300 has the highest damage among all the Shotguns in this game as it absolutely dominates in close-range battles decimating opponents. The biggest drawback it holds is that it only fires 2 bullets per round as compared to other Shotguns packed with 7-8 bullets per magazine. It has decent recoil control and better spread which is fine until the enemy is within the range of this weapon.

On the other hand, Bryson 800 is packed with 8 rounds per magazine before it reloads again. Comparing it with Lockwood 300, Bryson 800 is slightly better because it brings higher recoil control and mobility. Additionally, it is possible to increase the range of the Bryson 800 by using the correct attachments. Lockwood 300 can be used if you are playing solo matches as you can reload after eliminating a single enemy. Whereas it may become difficult to use this Shotgun if you are playing Squad matches because it has fewer bullets and a higher reload time.

So, it is safe to say the Bryson 800 is the best Shotgun to use in COD Warzone 2.0’s Season 1. Also, thanks to ItzEpic (YouTube) for sharing the best attachments for Bryson 800 Shotgun:

  • Barrel – 29.5 Rifled Barrel
  • Muzzle – SA Schweigen DX
  • Optic – Xten Angel-40
  • Guard – Demo X50 Tactical Pump
  • Ammunition – 12 Gauge Explosive
