To find the Diamonds in Minecraft 1.20 update, you need to dig down between the levels Y: -59 and Y: -50. As they start spawning at the Y: -60 level, it is better you start mining Diamonds below that level. However, the best levels for Diamonds are between levels -50 and -64 in the 1.20 update. You can mine the Diamonds through two blocks, the Diamond Ore and the Deepslate Diamond Ore.
You can use several techniques for mining diamonds faster. These methods include strip-mining, staircase, branch-mining, or by using Haste Beacon to speed up the process. The diamonds can also drop while brushing the suspicious sand across the Desert Pyramid biomes.
