Kiriko is a powerful support that is the perfect pair for some heroes in Overwatch 2. While you can unlock her you won’t be able to play as her in ranked just yet. But the good thing is you can use her in unranked to practice these combinations while waiting for her to become available in Competitive. So in this guide let us check the best heroes to play alongside Kiriko in Overwatch 2.
3 Best Heroes to Play with Kiriko in Overwatch 2
Here are the 3 heroes from each role that can work really well with Kiriko in OW2.
- Roadhog for Tank
- Soldier 76 for Damage
- Ana for Support
Roadhog
Roadhog is an unusual tank in the game when you compare it to other heroes in this class. While he may have a good health pool he has 0 defensive abilities and is also one of the slowest tanks in the game. But that is where Kiriko comes in. Thanks to her healing capabilities, Roadhog players can play more aggressively and focus on getting kills.
Since this is a slow tank it can easily get caught and be crowd controlled. But thanks to Protection Suzu of Kiriko, the duo can counter the CC for Roadhog. Lastly, her ultimate Kitsune Rush is an excellent support ability. This path accelerates the movement speed and attack of the allies in it. And this is a perfect pair-up for the ultimate of Roadhog. He can use Whole Hog and get that burst of movement and attack that can allow him to target and eliminate more enemies.
Alternatively, Kiriko works next best with D.Va if considering tanks.
Soldier 76 – Best Hero to Play with Kiriko
This is a perfect support-damage duo team. The reason for it is Soldier 76 also has a healing ability, while Kiriko gets higher critical damage on her kunai. Thus both of them can interchange their roles and be a very dominating duo. It is because both are capable to heal each other while fighting. Soldier 76 can also use his sprint and flank an enemy. And to make the flank successful all Kiriko has to do is teleport to him using Swift Step.
But their true potential unlocks when combining their ultimates. Soldier 76’s ultimate is Tactical Visor, which is basically an aimbot for any enemies in his line of sight. So when you add the extra damage, more attack speed, and the movement buff from Kiriko’s Kitsune Rush. Any enemy that previously could escape has even slimmer chances to get away now.
In case you don’t like Soldier 76, then you can always use Tracer instead to pair with Kiriko.
Ana
You might be wondering why would a support hero need another support. Well, it is true to some extent but luckily Kiriko works quite a lot like a Damage character. So while it may sound like an odd combo, it is something that you can actually pull off when played properly. Unlike the previous two cases where Kiriko was majorly the support, in this case, Ana can play that role.
One of the best combinations you could pull is Ana’s Sleep Dart with Kiriko’s Kunai. As the name suggests, Sleep Dart puts the target to sleep, now all Kiriko has to do is get two headshots on the sleeping target with her Kunai. If the target is low on HP she could easily get a kill. You could also pair Ana’s Nano Boost with Kiriko’s Kitsune Rush, while Kiriko uses her Kunai to attack enemies. Thus there are a few combinations that can help you get kills or at least do enough damage that can let your teammates finish off the enemy.
You can also play Lucio with Kiriko if Ana doesn’t work for you.
