How to Beat Pensieve Guardian in Hogwarts Legacy
You can beat the Pensieve Guardian by spamming your attacks. The part where most people are stuck is when it attacks you with its orbs. In order to destroy them, you simply need to cast a spell on it same as the color of the orb. Don’t worry if it sounds too confusing just make sure you equip one spell of each color. Below are all of its moves and the spells needed for destroying the orbs:
- Stomp attack: The Pensieve Guardian will stomp on the ground. This will launch a purple trail of attack in your direction. You can perform a dodge roll to not get hit by it.
- Shockwave attack: It will use this move mostly after getting up from its stun. You can recognize it is about to come by the circular water-looking fiery boundary. Once you see it, get out of its range to not get hit by the shockwave attack.
- Orb attacks: The Pensieve Guardian will charge up an orb. This will either be of yellow, purple, or red colors. This represents you can use the Control, Force, or Damage spells to destroy it. In case you don’t have some color equipped then you can also throw the pod-like objects nearby at it. Lastly, you can try hiding behind the pillars as a last resort to guard yourself against it. This method isn’t very effective though.
Just keep dodging its attacks and use your spells to chip away its health and you will defeat the Pensieve Guardian in no time.
How to Destroy Pensieve Guardian’s Orbs
As explained above, you need to hit the Orb with the same colored spell at the right time. Some of these spells for each orb that you can use are:
- Destroy Yellow Orbs: Use Control spells like Levioso or Glacius. Any Control spell works.
- Destroy Purple Orbs: Use Force spells like Depulso or Flipendo. Any Force spell works.
- Destroy Red Orbs: Use Damage spells like Confringo or Diffindo. Any damage spell works.
Make sure you cast these spells when the Guardian is charging the orb. This will improve your chances of not getting hit by it.
