The Mother Mind in Remnant 2 is a giant-sized boss that is tough to beat. She is considered to be the Ancestors of all the Root Flyers existing in the region of Yaesha. How to Defeat the Mother Mind in Remnant 2
The best plan of action here will be to know where and how the Mother Mind will be attacking. That being said, you will have to carefully observe its arsenal to prepare for countermeasures. To simplify things, here’s how you can counter every attack thrown by the Mother Mind in Remnant 2:
- Claw Strike (Normal) – It will smash its claw on the ground
- Can be dodged by moving sideways
- Claw Strike (Spinning) – It spins and spread its claws around to deal damage
- Stick to the walls to avoid getting damaged
- Hard Smash – It will smash claws violently on the platform causing it to break
- Walk your way to the next platform
In Remnant 2, the Mother Mind takes massive damage if you hit it on the orange spots. But that will require shooting plenty of bullets. Luckily, this boss summons Root Flyers that drop ammo when killed. Also, there’s nothing to worry about the Root Flyers as they are very easy to kill.
The only thing you must worry about during the Mother Mind boss fight is switching platforms at the correct time. Before smashing the ground into pieces, it will rise up in the air. After that, it will take 2 smashes from Mother Mind to break the platform in Remnant 2. So keep moving and shooting at the right spots to knock down this boss for good.
