The Cernyx has many powerful attacks and he spams it like no tomorrow, so to beat him in Arcane Odyssey, use the hit-and-move strategy. First, attack and beat his minions so they do not get in your way. Make sure you move around and dodge each attack as they inflict heavy damage. Although you can parry his attacks, we recommend you dodge them. Because once you dodge his attacks, he will be stunned for a few moments. Make sure you use this window to unleash heavy attacks on him.
One strategy that works well against Cernyx is to use a magic build. Then, bait him to the pillars around the arena and then jump off. This way, you can avoid his attacks and hit back once he is done. We also recommend you use a combo of Beast Instinct and Sword Draw moves against this boss.
The major problem while fighting Cernyx in Arcane Odyssey is his excessive use of AoE attacks. This hampers your visibility due to the smoke effects on the arena.
