In order to avoid unwanted players in Dota 2, the first thing you need to do is head over to the Dota + menu. In order to do so, you need to click your score, which you will find in the upper right corner of the game’s main menu.

Once you click on the said score, you will find a menu with different options and pieces of information. Here, you need to look for Shard Balance. Under Shard Balance, you will be able to view a button that says Manage Avoided Players. You will find the said button towards the left.

You need to click on the Manage Avoided Players button. Now, you will be able to choose which players you wish to avoid when playing Dota 2 and which players you do not intend on avoiding.

Another possible method to keep unruly elements at bay when playing a game like Dota 2 is by reporting them. You can do so by clicking on a Red Flag icon after each game. Here, you will be able to report players and choose who you wish to keep away.

And that’s it. With these simple steps, you too can now enjoy Dota 2 stress-free without having to worry about trolling players who spoil the experience of this brilliant game. If you choose to, you can also probably mute the audio feature in order to avoid any unnecessary interruptions.
