The developer Studio Wildcard announced that the ARK: Survival Evolved server will shut down as well. They said that this was being done to accommodate the remastered next-gen version of ARK. When Will ARK Servers Shut Down?
The ARK: Survival Evolved Servers will shut down in August 2023. Studio Wildcard has confirmed that the ARK official servers will be shutting down once the remastered version arrives in August. ARK: Survival Ascended – the remaster is set to take the place of the original survival game. Once the Ark official servers go offline, it will signal the untimely end of one of the most highly-rated and best survival games on Steam.
With that being said, there might be some players who will be eager to experience the remastered version. However, ARK: Survival Ascended won’t come free. Here is what you need to know.
ARK: Survival Ascended Release Date, Price & Platforms
ARK: Survival Ascended is set to be released in August 2023. The remaster will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. But sadly, it is not a free upgrade to ARK. The remastered version is expected to set fans back by $59.99. All the DLC expansions which were planned to be sold separately earlier will be included in the same bundle itself.
