CS2 Stickers: How To Apply & Remove Them

Published Date :

Similar to Counter-Strike: GO, you can apply and remove CS2 stickers on all the weapons only once. But as with the Limited Test a few months back, some players were unable to apply them due to the beta phase. Luckily, this feature is back with the full (kind of) release. Even though Valve has moved the place of stickers on weapons, you can apply them to any vanilla guns or skins from Inventory. While adding or scraping off stickers is easy for the CS vets, new players joining the Counter-Strike sequel might get a little confused. Don’t worry, check out our guide to find out how to apply and remove stickers in Counter-Strike 2.

How to Apply Stickers in CS2

CS2 Stickers How To Apply and Remove

Here’s how you can put or apply stickers on different weapons in Counter-Strike 2:

  • Head over to your Inventory.
  • Select the preferred weapon you want to add a sticker to.
  • Right-click on that weapon and select the Apply Sticker option.
  • Choose the sticker you want to add to the weapon or weapon skin.
  • Then, select the Continue button to apply a sticker on the weapon.
  • Select the Next Position button to change your sticker position.

Can you Remove the Stickers in CS2?

  • Head to your Inventory.
  • Navigate and select the weapon you want to remove the sticker from.
  • Right-click on that weapon skin.
  • Hit the Scrape sticker option from the drag-down box.
  • Continuously press the sticker icon until you get a message to remove it.
  • Finally, press the Remove sticker button to scrape the sticker.

How to Get Stickers in Counter-Strike 2

Here are all the ways you can get the CS2 stickers:

  • Unlocking a Sticker Capsule:
    • Picking the Regular and community sticker capsules drops during gameplay. These require a purchased (or traded) Capsule Key to unlock.
    • Tournament sticker capsules are purchased from the in-game store. Luckily, these do not require a capsule key to unlock.
    • Souvenir stickers are special stickers only found on Souvenir weapons. Note that they are unobtainable through any other means.
  • Purchased from the in-game store after receiving a special coupon offer in the player’s inventory.
  • Trading with your friends or other players.
  • Finding them pre-applied on Weapon skins on the Steam Market.
