Dig It has received a Volkayno update which also brought along 3 new shovels, and they are Magma, Ancient, and Imp. Take a look at the steps to obtain them as well as their stats.
How to Get Magma Shovel in Dig It
To obtain the Magma Shovel, head to the Volkayno area near Nookville and purchase it for 67,500D$ if you are at level 30 or above. It is kept near the Evil Merchant, so head over there on your boat and buy it if you have farmed the required amount of money. If not, keep playing and digging up rare items using Magnets and you should be able to collect it soon.

How to Get Ancient Shovel in Dig It
The Ancient Shovel can be obtained by completing a quest. First, you need a Molten Key which can be found in Volkayno when you finish the entire collection of the location. There are 14 collectibles in Volcayno:
- Firefighter Helmet
- Flaming Hot Taco
- Popcorn
- Super Toaster
- Worm
- Extinguisher
- Fire Goggles
- Grill
- Charcoal Chicken
- Thermometer
- Volcano
- Throne
- Fire Beetle
- And finally, there’s the Molten Key which is the final drop. It will take time but keep at it and you’ll be able to get the key.
Next, go to the chest behind the boss area, ahead of the eye symbol on top. Interact with it using the key, and go down into the Devil’s Pit. Talk to Brewton, who is a Potion Brewer in this location and you will get a Fire Resistance quest which requires you to Dig up multiple items.
Complete it by digging up pepper, lava flower, crystal, lava slime and talk to Brewton. You will receive a Fire Resistance potion, and by consuming it, you can cross the bridge. Its effects will last for 30 minutes. If it runs out, you will need to collect it from Brewton again.
Keep going forward until you reach a door with many eyes. You can unlock this door with the Ancient Key which is obtained by finishing the entire Devil’s Pit collection (24 items).
Then, go through the door and complete the Ancient Trial. This will bring you to The Oasis. Complete the entire collection (13 items) of the The Oasis which will reward you with The Ancient One Mythical item.
Now, talk to Oni, the NPC standing next to the Ancient shovel and he will task you to get 20 Holy Treasures. Once that’s done, you will be ready to buy the Ancient Shovel.
