There is a wide variety of items you can obtain while digging in Dig It and one such item is the Mole. It can be useful for making your Shovel more powerful through enchantment and if it is your first time doing so, here’s everything you need to know.
How to Find a Mole and Enchant Shovel in Dig It
To get a Mole, you need to dig in the ground on any island with a shovel. While the quality of the shovel isn’t of the highest priority, the better your shovel, the easier it is to obtain to Mole. Once you’ve dug it up, make sure you don’t accidentally sell it if you’re planning to enchant your shovel.
Enchanting your shovel
To enchant your shovel and make it more powerful, hop onto your boat and head to Mole Island. If you’re currently on Nookville (Starter Island), you should see an island with two palm trees.
Equip the Mole you’ve dug up and give it to the giant Mole that appears on the island. Interact and press E to Offer Mole. This was your enchanting item, similar to Fisch’s Enchant Relic. With that done, now you need to offer a Shovel that you want to upgrade. Equip it and offer it to the same Mole. It will go into its pit and come back with your randomly enchanted Shovel. If you check the stats of your shovel now, you will see what has improved in green.

There are different tiers (3) for an enchant with say how well your shovel will be affected by the enchant. Giving a normal mole will result with a tier 1 enchant with a small chance for 2 or 3, while a royal mole will be 2 with a higher chance for 3.
There are currently 10 enchants. They are listed below:
- Precise – Boosts your shovel’s precision stat.
- Control – Boosts your shovel’s control stat.
- Lucky – Boosts your shovel’s loot luck stat.
- Strong – Boosts your shovel’s strength stat.
- Stamina – Lowers your shovel’s stamina loss stat.
- Durable – Boosts your shovel’s max weight.
- Perfect – Boosts all stats and lowers stamina loss.
- Blessed – Boosts luck, stability, control, precision, and lowers stamina loss.
- Super – Boosts strength, precision, control, stability, and max weight.
- Secret – Boosts the chance of digging a secret (1/100k). Tier 1 = 1/50k, Tier 2 = 1/40k, and Tier 3 = 1/33.3k.
