While exploring the dynamic regions of Hyrule in Zelda Tears of The Kingdom, you’ll learn to make many elixirs. Veteran Zelda players understand the importance of elixirs and why you should brew them. Their purpose is more or less the same as it was in Breath of the Wild. They will make you resistant to certain weather conditions or give you a stat boost. So here’s how to make elixirs in Zelda ToTK.
How to Make Elixirs in Zelda ToTK
Similar to Breath of The Wild, you can make Elixirs in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom by mixing parts of bugs and monsters in a cooking pot. The elixirs will provide various buffs to Link based on the ingredients. To get these ingredients, you can visit various shops across the kingdom of Hyrule or get them as drops for defeating the monsters.
Once you have the ingredients, you will need a utensil to brew the elixir. For this, you can either use Cooking Pots or the Zonai Portable Pots. You will find Cooking Pots close to stables and villages and are free to use. However, to get the Zonai Portable Pots, you’ll have to spend a Zonai Charge at the Zonai Device Dispenser. Once you use the portable pot, it will disintegrate and you’ll have to buy another to brew another elixir. In a single cook, you can add up to five ingredients. If you add more of the same ingredients to the elixir, then its effect will be prolonged for a longer duration.
