S Tier agents explained
- Raze: Raze is a pretty strong duelist. You can use her blast packs creatively to enter the site. Especially when you have your Ultimate ready. Her Paint Shells are also plenty handy in both situations for entry and post-plant. You can throw it at your enemy by predicting where they are moving to get the kill while pushing or throw it after planting to kill or stall the enemy while they diffuse the spike.
- Viper: Viper’s kit can be very handy when used correctly. Her walls and smokes not only limit enemy visibility but passing through them also makes them vulnerable. Her ultimate Viper’s Pit is very strong and has been countless times used by many to win in situations like 1v4.
- Skye: Skye is a multi-purpose initiator. Do you want to heal all of your nearby teammates? Check. Want to help your duelist enter the site by blinding enemies? Check. Want to scout the corners of a site? The trailblazer has got your back. Her ultimate is also excellent for tracking enemies, and blinding them if they get hit. Skye on the right player’s hands can be very annoying but can be a problem for your team if you don’t know how to use her.
- Killjoy: One of the only Sentinels who has constantly been in the meta is Killjoy. Her swarm grenades can be used for both pre-plant to slow down the attackers and post-plant when they start diffusing. The same is also true for her Lockdown as it can be used for both pushing and retaking an area. When used Lockdown correctly you can turn the round in favor in no time!
- Cypher: After his buff with the Patch 7.09 Cypher went from a C or D Tier character straight to an S-Tier. His Tripwires can be very problematic to deal with. He is also very useful when revealing sites with his Spycam. He also fills in the role of a budget smoke thanks to his Cyber Cage.
