When you come across a safe a dialer will appear on the screen. Safe codes are random guesses, you have to move the dialer to the point where it turns green. That will give you the first set of digits, and then repeat the process to get the second safe code. And then the third one. Here is a trick on how to speed up safe cracking.
Rotate the dial pressing A or D faster and stop when it starts shaking. The dial will not react on the wrong digit, but if you are near the right one will start vibrating. Slow down the dial rotation, you might be around 3-4 digits away from the right one. You can choose to rotate in one single direction, no need to waste your time moving it left or right. Go for an entire circle with max speed and then slow down as the safe’s dial starts shaking.
In this way, you can crack safe in Payday 3. Along with the safe,’ there are locked doors, lockers, and sealed electric safes. Doors and lockers can be opened via simple Lock Picking features, while electric safes will require passcodes. Which is hidden somewhere in the area of the heist. For example, in the first mission in the bank, the passcode for a digital safe is hidden in one of the executive’s offices. You have to search for each and every paper to get the code.
For lockers just be ready to press the key when the rotating hand is about the cross the white area. Do this three times and any door or locker will be unlocked.
