When the Sumeru Update launches alongside Genshin Impact 3.0 players will meet some of their new enemies, the Eremites. It seems that Eremites are a group of warriors who are mercenaries and will work for the deepest pockets in Genshin Impact. Thus players who encounter the Eremites will have to battle them.

The Eremites are fierce warriors and seem to be having Elemental Powers. Although they hail from an ancient desert civilization of Sumeru, they are not allies to any nations and are mainly set out from the forests in Sumeru. While a solo Eremite won’t be that difficult to beat, the same cannot be said for more than one.

These Eremites seem to be Level 90 so defeating them will take some good gameplay on your end. They may be from the land of Sumeru but there seems to be more than one type of Eremite in Genshin Impact.

Dehya is one NPC that you will encounter in the game who is known to have affiliations to the Eremites. She first appeared in the Sumeru Promotional Video of Genshin, wielding a sword.
