Follow Official Twitter Accounts for Updates Regarding Maintenance
If the game servers are going down due to maintenance, you will be informed of it via the official Twitter accounts of @YGOMasterDuel & @YuGiOhCardEU. Here’s an example of such a notice:
Attention Master Duelists!#YuGiOhMasterDuel will be undergoing maintenance on 27th of January between 01:00-07:00 GMT. The game will be unavailable during this period – we apologise for any inconvenience.

As mentioned, the game will be unavailable during this period. Be sure to check if the game is back up around the time the maintenance period ends and you should be able to get in. If not, wait a bit more because there is no fixed time for this. In case the servers go down due to an outage, the devs will inform players of the same via Twitter, so make sure to give them a follow.
