Stray is a game all about reuniting a lost cat with its family. This game takes you all over a cybercity with tons of cool bots. Here, you go through alleys, buildings, and more with your trusty B-12 bot by your side. Along the way, you collect trophies and other collectibles. One of these is the Plant badge. If you want to get this badge, you will have to collect a few plants and give them to Malo. If you can’t find all three of them then this is the guide for you. Here is your guide on how to find the red, yellow, and purple plants in Stray Chapter 9.
How to Find the Yellow, Red, and Purple Plants in Stray
In Chapter 9, your cat will come across the Antvillage. Here, you will meet Malo who will ask you to find red, yellow, and purple plants. Here are the steps that you will need to take in order to find all three of the plants:
Where to Find the Red Plant in Stray
This will be the most difficult plant to get as you have to go outside of the tree house. This is the only plant located outside of the treehouse. With a few careful leaps, you should be able to get to this plant in no time.
- Go to the robots playing Mahjong and climb in the bucket just outside the balcony
- Descend to the bottom and jump onto the sewer pipe below
- Walk towards the end of the pipe and jump on the oil barrels
- This will lead you to the red flower plant
- Use B-12 to take a plant
- Now, jump on the barrels, then the pipe again to get back to the main island
- Jump on top of the wooden stilts to get back to the top
- You should now be back on the balcony with the robots playing Mahjong
Where to Find the Purple Plant in Stray
This is a fairly easy plant to get as it doesn’t require you to go very far. And is also relatively safe. Here is how you can get the Purple Plant.
- Right beside the robot bunk bed will be a tree growing alongside the treehouse
- Climb the tree till you reach its flowers
- You should now be able to use B-12 to take a purple plant
- Come back the same way and then move to the next plant
Where to Find the Yellow Plant in Stray
This plant will be on the outside of the treehouse and can be found fairly close to Malo. You can choose to look for this plant first or last, depending on how close you want to be to the robot in the mission. The purple plant will also be close by. Here is how you can get the Yellow Plant.
- From the Purple plant location, climb up the ladder
- Now, climb on top of the air conditioners/fans to the next floor
- Go around the floor till you reach the bar area
- You should see blue and yellow canisters
- Now, jump onto the pipe right outside these canisters
- Walk towards the right to collect some yellow flowers
Give Plants to Malo to Earn the Plant Badge in Stray
Once you collect all of the flowers, you will then have to then give them to Malo to collect your Plant badge. This is how you can get back to Malo after collecting all of the plants.
- Now, give all of these flowers to Malo by climbing the ladder on the other side of the bar area
- Climb up the pipes next to the second ladder
- Malo will be watering their plants right there
- Once you give all of the plants, you will earn the plant badge
