Yakuza Like A Dragon: Everything About Cross-Save And Cross-Gen

Published Date :

Yakuza Like a Dragon is a beloved RPG of several players. The game is now supposed to be transferring to next-gen consoles as well along with PS4 and Xbox One. With that being the case, every fan of the game is worried about whether or not they will be able to take their saved game to the next-gen consoles or not. If you too are one such fan and want to get the answer, continue to read this guide. In this guide, we will discuss cross-save and cross-gen functionalities of Yakuza Like a Dragon.

Does Yakuza Like a Dragon Support Cross-Save

Yakuza Like a Dragon does and does not support cross-save. Confused, well it does support cross-save in Xbox Series X and S, but not between PS4 and PS5. This means that PS5 players can either start to play the game on the PS4 version when it first releases along with the PC and Xbox version or wait for the PS5 version to be released in March 2021.

With Xbox’s Smart Delivery system, they are making the cross-save between Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X easy for the players. This means that Xbox players can progress in the game in Xbox One and then take the saved data on Xbox Series S/X.

On the other hand, PlayStation players will have a choice to go with backward compatibility to play the saved game or start from the very beginning if they want to leverage the features and enhancements of PS5.

Yakuza Like a Dragon: Cross-Gen Enhancements

It is obvious that Yakuza Like a Dragon will have several cross-gen enhancements with the new technology in next-gen consoles. However, there is not much information available yet. It seems that the game will have three different resolution options to choose from. The options will be normal, high resolution, and high frame-rate, for both the next-gen consoles.

The normal option will have the resolution capped at 1440p and 60 fps. The high resolution will significantly improve the resolution to be at 4K but half the frame rate to 30 fps. As for the high frame-rate option, it will cap the resolution at 1080p and the frame-rate will always remain at 60 and high.

That’s everything we have got to tell you about Yakuza Like a Dragon’s cross-save and cross-gen.
