Xbox Cloud Gaming is available across a wide range of supported platforms for players. You can remotely connect to your PC through the cloud gaming app and access hundreds of video games from there. But while you can play these games, you mandatorily have to use the Xbox controller on PC. If you are playing a shooter game, using a controller can be a bit of a hassle. On the other hand, using a mouse can offer a competitive advantage. While most players are waiting for Microsoft to release a patch with keyboard and mouse support, there is another way. So, check out our guide on how to play the Xbox Cloud Gaming games with a keyboard and mouse.
How to Play Xbox Cloud Gaming with Keyboard & Mouse on PC
You can play Xbox Cloud Gaming with a keyboard and mouse by installing the “keyboard and mouse for xCloud” extension. It is a third-party extension that is supported with only compatible browsers. These browsers include Google Chrome & Microsoft Edge. Once you have downloaded and installed the extension, you will be prompted with the option to activate the keyboard & mouse support.
While earlier this extension was free, you have to pay $3.99 as a one-time payment for lifetime access as of now. Alternatively, you can also try out the three-day trial before purchasing the extension. The Microsoft team will release the patch for the keyboard and mouse support eventually. However, you can use this browser extension till the update is released in the future.
