As you progress and explore La Cuna island, you will encounter a confusing puzzle that involves four windmills. You can unlock several rewards for completing and solving this puzzle. How To Solve the Windmill Puzzle in A Plague Tale: Requiem
As mentioned earlier, this puzzle involves four windmills. The solution to the Windmill Puzzle requires you to stop Windmills I and II. And leave the remaining windmills as they are. If you are having trouble locating the Windmills, you can find Roman numerals carved on the wall of the Windmills. Once you complete the puzzle, you will unlock a hidden cave path that can get you several rewards.
Follow the below steps to solve the Windmill Puzzle in a Plague Tale Requiem:
- Starting with Windmill I, you can enter it from the front door. You need to climb the stairs and pull the lever down to stop the Windmill.
- If you are having trouble finding the Windmill II, we suggest looking for a small Stable.
- For that, keep on going through the route to Palace. Once you see the stable, head left and get down from the sloping path.
- Over there, you will find two people praying at a cross. As you find the Windmill II, you will find a rope.
- You need to pull the rope to clear out the boxes blocking its entrance. Then, get inside the Windmill and pull the lever to stop the Windmill II.
- Once you have activated the second Windmill, head left until you find a spiral symbol on the ground.
- If you see a spiral pattern, it denotes that the Windmill is already activated. So, you don’t need to turn on the Windmill III.
- Lastly, Windmill IV will have a symbol of a small hut over its walls. Over there, you can find a small cart.
- You need to crawl under the cart to find a ladder. Then, climb the ladder and find a small space that can get Hugo inside.
- Once Hugo gets inside, he can unlock the main door. Pull the lever to deactivate or stop the Windmill IV.
This will trigger a shaking sound that all the characters will notice.
How to Get Secret Armor (Bracer)
As mentioned earlier, completing the Windmill puzzle will unlock the hidden cave. You need to follow the slope and head inside the cave to find Smuggler’s hidden treasure. You will find several tools, crafting, and upgrade materials in the treasure boxes. In addition to that, you will also find a Secret Bracer that can be equipped by Amicia. This bracer will help Amicia recover from the enemy attacks faster and deal more damage.
