Where To Find Moogle’s Mortar In Final Fantasy 7 Remake

Moogle’s Mortar is a key item in a side quest called ‘Secret Medicine’ which takes place in Sector 5 slums. Finding it right there and then can delay you in your quest as there are two other items that you will need to find.

There is a chance in Final Fantasy 7 Remake where you can purchase the Moogle’s Mortar early on in the game, saving you the hassle later on.

To purchase the Moogle’s Mortar you will have to wait until the game takes you to the Sector 5 slums pretty early on in Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

Once there you will meet an NPC named Moogie who runs a shop named Moogle Empire. This is the place where you can purchase the Moogle’s Mortar, but there’s a catch.

You won’t be able to purchase it with Gil, the in-game currency in Final Fantasy 7 Remake, rather you will have to spend only one Moogle Medal. You will find these medals as random loot drops in the in chests in caves and other places.

In fact, you will start collecting them early on in the game as well but won’t have a clue as to what they do. You can only spend them at Moogle’s Emporium, so it is best that you keep them safe.

Once you have the Moogle’s Mortar in the game, keep it safe as you will require it when you reach Chapter 14 and in one of those side quests, this item becomes necessary. This is all there is to know about where to find Moogle’s Mortar in Final Fantasy 7 Remake.
