Once you complete the main campaign of Diablo 4, the seasonal content is where you can understand the lore more deeply, and of course experience unique bosses, story quests, etc. Various seasonal elements are strictly available for a limited time, so it’s important to know the Diablo 4 season start and end dates and times to avoid missing out.
As you’re aware, the game requires you to grind to a great extent and you will have to play for a lot of hours to reach level 100, complete the Battle Pass, collect unique items, or beat the uber boss of the season. To ensure that you plan your grind well, here’s when the current season of Diablo 4 starts, ends, and when the next one begins.
When Does Diablo 4 Season 2 End? Ending Date and Time
Diablo 4 Season 2 (Season of Blood) started on October 17th, 2023, and is estimated to end on January 23rd or 24th, 2024.
With this info, players can plan their daily activities in-game and invest the necessary hours (or take breaks!) based on this ending date. The seasonal character you are currently playing will go to the eternal realm once the season ends and the seasonal elements (such as Malignant Hearts or Vampiric powers) will be gone.
When Does Diablo 4 Season 3 Start? Date and Time
Blizzard plans to keep seasons up for 3 months, so the next season (Season 3) may start on January 23, 2024, the same day Season 2 ends. The theme for the upcoming season is not yet known, but whenever that is revealed, we will update this section to reflect it.
The development team aims to produce four seasons a year so players have something to look forward to all year. Though the Season of the Malignant was a disappointment, the Season of Blood has rectified quite a few of the issues based on player feedback and that’s commendable. I am looking forward to what they have in store for the future and I’m very glad they reworked Sorc!

Usually, the new D4 seasons drop at around 9 to 10 AM PT. If there are any technical issues, the timing or even the date may get moved around. Sometimes, the new season may launch without some features like trading or crossplay, depending on the issue that has come up. But it will be fixed soon enough.
