Gears 5 is one of the biggest Xbox One exclusives and with the release of the game only a couple of days away a lot of people want to know what the preload and unlock times for Gears 5 are.

Gears 5 Preload Time
There isn’t an exact date of time given by Xbox when you can actually preload the game, but if you log into your Xbox One console right now and go to the Game Pass tab, you should be able to see a banner which says that you can preload right now.
You will need to follow the steps shown on the screen, and once you do it. Gears 5 will be added to your library. This does not, however, begin the downloading process.
This might be due to the fact that Xbox has not yet allowed players to preload Gears 5 just yet, rather they are simply queueing up players who wish to download Gears 5.
Once Xbox starts allowing players to preload, the download will be initiated. Make sure that you have at least 57 GB of storage available on your console.
Unlock Time
If you have a Game Pass Ultimate, you can begin playing Gears 5 four days before those who do not have this and if you do not have then Gears 5 will probably be unlocked at midnight on the 6th of September 2019.
