They play a significant role in various in-game challenges, including when you need to “own a mansion” as part of a challenge. With multiple types of homes in the real estate market, mansions are the best luxury living option you can find within the game.
Although properties may sometimes labeled as “mansions,” they might not always be readily available. This raises the question of other alternatives, such as which other house types could meet the challenge requirements. What Counts as Mansions in BitLife (& How To Get Them)?
In BitLife, mansions are characterized by their large size, rich amenities, and high value. So, all the houses that have manors and mansions in their names are considered mansions in BitLife. As you can see in the above image, there will also be properties named Mansion and Manor, apart from places like Haunted Manor, Luxurious Mansion, etc. Although BitLife does not explicitly label houses as “mansions,” you can find luxurious properties by looking for specific indicators:
- Descriptions: Look for terms like “estate,” “castle,” “manor,” or “palace” in house descriptions, as these are often associated with high-end homes.
- Bedroom count: Houses with six or more bedrooms are more likely to fall under the mansion category.
How to Purchase and Mortgage Mansions in BitLife
After a certain age, you will see the Real Estate Brokers option in the Shopping section of the Activities. There will be two realtors there, both with different and similar types of properties. Go in them and look for those with a manor and mansion in the name. When you tap on any place, it will show its condition, age, size, cash, and mortgage price. To secure your dream mansion in BitLife, consider the following strategies:
- Build wealth: Accumulate substantial funds through high-paying careers such as becoming a famous actor, singer, athlete, or CEO. You can also increase your wealth by winning the lottery or inheriting a fortune.
- Age up: More luxurious properties become available as your character ages in the game.
- Utilize fast-forward: Use the fast-forward button to quickly age your character and see what new houses become available on the market.
- Be patient: If you don’t find your ideal mansion immediately, age up and recheck the market as new properties are added.
- Target wealthy locations: Focus your house-hunting efforts in affluent areas such as Beverly Hills, where you’ll likely find upscale homes.
Once you have decided to buy the house, you will find it in the Properties of your Assets tab. You can rent, upgrade, and inspect the tenants if you have the Landlord expansion pack. Additionally, you can party, sell, renovate, and gift it to your friends and family. If you have made a will where all your properties are divided equally but wish that the mansion be handed over to a particular child, you can gift it to them.
