Recipes in Legend of Zelda aren’t just to give you a full meal but certain combinations can lead up to having a buff for your character giving you additional benefits by using one or two ingredients more if you want to learn about the cooking recipes in Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, then check this guide out.

What Are The Cooking Recipes In Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Link’s journey has taken his hundreds of years into the game’s timeline and you often have to wonder that once in a while, he will probably get starving from all the adventure that he’s set out for.

Cooking recipes in Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild not only make sure that you get a hearty meal in the game but changing the combination or bringing in a new ingredient will often result in the players getting additional buffs.

These buffs can range from getting you an extra heart, more mobility, better stats, and much more in the game. You will need to first figure out what buff you are looking for and then find appropriate ingredients for it.

One thing you have to keep in mind is the fact while insects and monsters parts make elixirs, adding them with food recipes will ruin your food and render your dishes as a failure.

We’ve compiled this guide so that you do not have to keep mixing and matching each combination in hopes of finally finding something out.

Cooking in Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is pretty straightforward. If you do not have access to a pot, you can always use a campfire but there are limitations to that method.

If you have a pot, you can get access to a lot of things and create new dishes that will give you bonuses for your food alchemy and this will help you a lot in the game.

Making food in a pot is as easy as adding the foot items to it and voila you will have created a dish.

If you just cook a fish in a pot, it will make a fish skewer that will restore two hearts, but if you happen to add a spicy pepper to your fish, you will instantly get pepper seafood and this will restore three hearts and will also provide cold resistance.

Each ingredient has a potency range and this can range from grade A being the best to grade E being the worst.

    Hearty Recipes

Hearty recipes will help you completely restore your HP and buff it with extra hearts, the better the potency of your ingredients, and grade E will get you one yellow heart while a grade A will get you 5 yellow hearts.

    Energizing Recipes

These types of recipes help in restoring stamina and the amount once again depends on the quality of ingredients that you will be used to create the dishes. The best thing about this is the fact that the buff effects stacks, meaning that the more you add the more stamina will be recovered.

    Enduring Recipes

Endurance will help you gain extra stamina, temporarily increasing the size of your stamina wheel. The same goes for the effects stacks as well. You can add more to the recipe to mix as this too can be stacked.

You can use the following materials to increase the level of the dish. Make sure to try and use the best quality of products and this will help you in the game overall.

    Hasty – Movement speed up
    Sneaky – Stealth up
    Mighty – Attack up
    Tough – Defense up
    Spicy – Cold resistance
    Chilly – Heat resistance
    Electro – Shock resistance
    Fireproof – Flame guard

This above list shows each ingredient and what they do in the game by providing additional buffs in the game. This is all there is to know about cooking recipes in Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
