Remember back in the day, as in the last season there used to be daily quests? Well, with Chapter 5 of Fortnite, you now get match quests. They sort of replace them in a way. This might sound good but it may actually be a bit of a hassle to complete all 3 of them daily. As the name must have given away these are quests you receive when you start a match. However, there is more you need to know about them.
What are Match Quests in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1?
From this season in your Quests tab, you will find a new “Match Quest Daily Bonus Goals”. Here you basically have to complete 3 match quests, each time you complete 1 you get 15K experience. The thing is you will know what these quests are only after you start the match. That isn’t the issue, the problem is, in each match you can only complete 1 match quest. So even though you get 3 to choose from. In order to complete them all, you will have to play 3 matches. Here is how you can check them:
- Start a Fortnite Battle Royale match.
- While you wait for the Battle Bus. You can find 3 quests on the left side of the screen. These can include tasks like:
- Get headshots on opponents with Assault Rifles
- Build structures at Fencing Fields
- Collect a Society Medaliion
- Choose one of them and complete the task before dying.
- Similarly, play 2 more matches and complete 2 more quests to complete the Match Quest Daily Bonus Goals.
How to Complete Match Quests Faster
You can try quitting the match as soon as you are done completing a quest. This should help you save some time rather than having to play 3 whole matches. Another thing you can try is quitting and starting another match to see if your quests change. One positive thing about it is you get 5K XP per match quest. So not only do you get 15K per daily task but 5K per quest. As such you can earn 60K XP a day!
That’s all on what match quests are in the new Chapter 5 of Fortnite. While you are here I suggest you also check how to get Festival Points. This will help you complete your Festival Pass.
