Best Nature For Wattrel And Kilowattrel In Pokemon Scarlet And Violet

Published Date :

The new games, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, in the successful Game Freak franchise were released on 18th November. These games feature the ninth generation of Pokemon for the first time. If you have a Wattrel or a Kilowattrel, you might be wondering which is the best nature for them. The Nature mechanic can increase one stat of your Pokemon while decreasing the other. Hence, knowing how to use it can affect the outcome of a battle. To help you, in this article, we will tell you which is the best nature for your Wattrel and Kilowattrel in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Wattrel and Kilowattrel Best Nature in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Wattrel and Kilowattrel location in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

Wattrel and Kilowattrel are described as storm petrel Pokemon and are new to the series. Although they have decent stats, the rare Electric/Flying dual-type makes them rare. The best nature for Wattrel and Kilowattrel is Hasty Nature. We recommend this nature because Wattel and Kilowattrel, both, have a great Speed stat. The Hasty nature will further increase its speed allowing you to hit your opponent first. It will decrease your already low Defense stat. You can use these Pokemon as Mixed or Special Sweepers to damage your opponent’s team. Because of their dual type, they can cause huge damage on Bug, Fighting, Grass, Flying, and Water-type Pokemon. This will give you an upper hand early on in the battle.

Nature also tells you which is your Pokemon’s preferred Flavor. Check out this list of Flavors that your Pokemon will prefer with a specific Nature:

  • Attack: Spicy
  • Defense: Sour
  • Speed: Sweet
  • Sp. Attack: Dry
  • Sp. Defense: Bitter

Along with Hasty, you can also use Naive Nature to increase the Speed stat of your Wattrel and Kilowattrel. It will decrease their Special Defense, which is already low as well. You can also increase their Special Attack stat with Modest Nature. However, it will reduce their Attack. So we recommend you use it against Water-types.

We hope this article helped you choose the best nature for your Wattrel and Kilowattrel in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. You can also check out the Best Nature for Palafin and Finizen in our Pokemon Scarlet & Violet section.
