    Watch Dogs: Legion Lorebook

Ubisoft is announcing today partnerships with Insight Editions, Aconyte and Glenat to release three products expanding the lore of Watch Dogs: Legion – A novel written by James Swallow and Josh Reynolds and published by Aconyte, a Lorebook created by Rick Barba and published by Insight Editions, and a Comic Book written and drawn by Sylvain Runberg and Gabriel Germain and published by Glenat. Watch Dogs: Legion will launch on October 29th, 2020 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Stadia and for Windows PC on Epic Games store and Uplay. The game will also be available on UPLAY+, Ubisoft’s subscription service. Watch Dogs: Legion will on November 10 on Xbox Series X/S and will launch digitally on PlayStation 5 alongside the console from November 12 2020. The PlayStation `5 physical version of the game will be available on November 24.

These three books will enable players and readers to explore the world of Watch Dogs: Legion with a new perspective and get to discover another point of view on the game’s universe.

The novel, entitled Watch Dogs Legion: Day Zero, will be published by Aconyte in both the US and the UK, releasing in ebook format October 13th and paperback November 3rd. It plunges the reader into an all-action prequel to Watch Dogs: Legion, as seen through the eyes of a wannabe hacker caught up in a conspiracy that threatens the darkly dystopian London of the game. The authors are James Swallow, a BAFTA nominee and a New York Times, Sunday Times and Amazon #1 bestseller with the Marc Dane series of thrillers, as well as bestselling tie-in novels for Star Trek, Warhammer, Doctor Who, and Deus Ex, and Josh Reynolds, most recently author of Knight of the Blazing Sun for the Black Library along with a further twenty acclaimed tie-in novels.

The Resistance Report, published by Insight Editions, will be released on October 27th, 2020 in the US and in the UK. It will allow readers to explore the world of Watch Dogs: Legion with illustrated research files that provide an overview of key aspects of the game’s universe, including detailed profiles on the transformed city of London and its boroughs, factions, vehicles, weapons, technology, and more. Packed with immersive text and exclusive artwork, this book is the definitive guide to the lore of the game. Rick Barba, the author, already worked on more than 150 titles, including books on Star Trek, StarCraft and LEGO: Jurassic World.

Finally, the comic book Underground Resistance, published by Glenat and available only in French, will also release simultaneously with the game. In Watch Dogs: Legion, near-future London is threatened by a corrupt, private military corporation, crime syndicates and cybercriminals trying to impose their vision for the city. A resistance group emerges and stands against this decay: DedSec. Discover a futuristic thriller starring a resistance cell gathered around investigation reporter Louise Hartford and underground DJ Adam Logan in this graphic novel by Sylvain Runberg, a world-famous comic book writer (Le Chant des Runes, the adaptation of the Millenium Saga) and Gabriel Germain, a young artist with a very distinctive style. The comic will have two issues of 54 pages each.
