Warframe Fishing Guide – Where to Find Rare Fish On The Plains Of Eidolon

Kevin AlmeidaBy Kevin AlmeidaMay 18, 2019Updated:April 30, 20202 Mins Read

One of the Nightwave Challenges in Warframe is to catch six rare fish in the Plains of Eidolon. Finding Rare Fish in Warframe is easy, but sometimes you might miss a few things that will make fishing time-consuming. This Warframe Fishing guide will show how to locate and catch all six fish.

    Warframe Fishing Requirements

Before heading to the Plains, make sure you load up the Gear Wheel fishing. First, buy the Lanzo Fishing Spear from Fisher Hai-Luk at Cetus for 500 Standing and Luminous Dye for 500 Standing. The best thing is you can buy these items from the Fisher without worrying to rank up with the Ostrons Syndicate.

For the second item you must have achieved the rank of Visitor with the Ostrons, only then you can buy Murkray Bait for 5000 Standing. Don’t worry about spending so much Standing, you can easily earn them back if you learn fishing fast.

How To Catch Rare Fish On The Plains Of Eidolon

Head directly towards the marked indicator on the map above which is near the Hillside Ruin. This is the best place to farm rare fishes in Warframe as they are always active hotspots. Simply look for the bubbles that are coming to the surface that’s your spot. The Rare Fishes in Warframe are Murkray, Norg, Cuthol, and Glappid.

Now Murkray can be caught all day long so no need to specific timing for fishing. Second, you need to equip your Lanzo Spear and throw in your dye at Murkray bait. In no time you will have your first fish showing up and start catching all the fish you need.
