Honkai Star Rail will offer numerous choices and players would rather be safe than sorry. So, they would often look for the consequences and rewards of both choices before making their decision. One such troubling choice that players will face is when they have to choose whether to let Orla go or wake Orla in Honkai Star Rail. If you are confused and want the result before making a choice, this guide has covered all you will need.
In the Dreamflux Reef area of Penacony, players get to visit Dr. Blues, who will reward them once they find all the Origami Birds. Along with that, he will also give players the Dream Song quest upon finishing the Penacony Trailblaze Mission “In Our Time”. It is at the end of this quest that players will have to make the choice of whether they have to let Orla go or wake Orla in HSR.
What Happens if You Let Orla Go in HSR?
If you choose the option to let Orla go in HSR (which is actually his wish), the bird will fly off to his companions and his true self will be lost forever. He will thank you for letting him go and once you return to the dreamscape, Dr. Blues won’t remember anything about his past as Orla. Players will get the rewards for the quest and along with that, the “Just Leave” achievement.
What Happens if You Wake Orla in Honkai Star Rail?
If you choose to wake Orla in Honkai Star Rail, he will reveal that he knows that it is an illusion but does not want to wake up from it. However, you can convince him that he should remain in Penacony and honor the legacy of his friends. Once he wakes up, he will continue his identity as Dr. Blues even if you call him Orla. While the rewards will be the same this time around, players will get the “Unfinished Dream Song” achievement instead.
Since it is Orla’s wish to go, it is best that you choose that ending for him. Players can choose any ending and they will still get the picture with the birds from the Dreamscape.
