How To Get Venomous Tentacula In Hogwarts Legacy

If you are wondering how to get Venomous Tentacula in Hogwarts Legacy then you’re at the right place. You’ll be tasked with acquiring this plant along with a Mandrake during Professor Garlick’s first Herbology assignment. Once you present them to Professor Garlick, you’ll unlock the Wingardium Leviosa spell. Apart from lifting things, this spell can also be used during combat to immobilize enemies for a short duration. In this guide, we’ll tell you where to get the seeds of these plants.

How to Get Venomous Tentacula in Hogwarts Legacy

Purchase Venomous Tentacula at Dogweed and Deathcap shop

To get Venomous Tentacula in Hogwarts Legacy, head over to the Dogweed and Deathcap shop in Hogsmeade. Make your way to the Northern part of the village and you’ll find this magical plants shop. Go inside and talk to Beatrice Green to purchase the plants. VenomousTentacula seeds will cost you 1,050 Galleons, while Mandrake seeds are 800 Galleons. Make sure you purchase the grown plant as well for 600 coins as you’ll need it in combat.

Once you have both plants, you’ll have to use them in combat. To use the Venomous Tentacula in Combat:

  • Press and hold L1 to open the Tool Menu.
  • Move the Right-Stick to Venomous Tentacula and release L1 to equip it.
  • Find an enemy and tap L1 to release the plant.

The Tentacula will take root and fire at enemies with acid. Moreover, it will hit the enemies close to it with spiky vines. So we recommend you keep one on you at all times. The plant will be crucial while fighting multiple enemies.

Apart from purchasing the plant itself, you can grow it at the Potting Table in the Room of Requirements.

Once you use both Venomous Tentacula and the Mandrake, head back to Professor Garlick and you will get the Levioso spell.
