Ubisoft Reveals the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Novel Cover Art from Jung Gi Kim and Pyung Jun Park

Ubisoft revealed the cover of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla - Geirmund’s Saga, the result of a collaboration between renown Korean artists Jung Gi Kim and Pyung Jun Park.

Today, Ubisoft revealed the cover of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – Geirmund’s Saga, the result of a collaboration between renown Korean artists Jung Gi Kim and Pyung Jun Park. Set in the world of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, players can discover the epic tale of legendary Viking Geirmund Hel-hide in this new novel.

Jung Gi Kim and Pyung Jun Park’s cover art was inspired by epic Viking warriors, their longships, and their brutal battles to settle in England. These themes of bravery and conquest are explored in the novel Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – Geirmund’s Saga, inviting players to deep-dive in the Viking fantasy.

On his first-time collaboration with Jung Gi Kim, Pyung Jun Park was very excited, stating that, “Jung Gi Kim is my mentor and one of the artists that I absolutely admire. I’m honored to be coloring his work, and hope that my passion comes across in the final piece.”

The Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – Geirmund’s Saga novel, to be released in Holiday 2020, is written by Matthew J. Kirby and published by Aconyte. It tells an original story set in the world of the game. Players can discover the epic tale of Geirmund Hel-Hide, a man determined to prove his worth as a Viking and a warrior, joining the ranks of King Guthrum’s army to participate in the invasion of England.

With development led by Ubisoft Montreal*, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla offers players the captivating experience of playing as Eivor, a legendary Viking raider, in a beautiful and mysterious open world set against the brutal backdrop of England’s Dark Ages. Players can take advantage of new features, including raids, weapon dual-wielding, and settlement building. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will release worldwide on November 10, 2020 on Xbox.
