As we all know PlateUp is all about cooking and serving delicious food to the customers. Apart from that players can also design and decorate to improve the ambiance of the restaurant. That also includes upgrading the appliances. In order to upgrade them, you’ll need to use the Research Desk, that’s provided from the beginning of the game. If you are unaware of the process to use Research Desk in PlateUp, then we’ve got your back. In this guide, we’ll discuss everything about the desk and what items it can upgrade in the game.

What is Research Desk in PlateUp?

How To Use Research Desk PlateUp

As mentioned earlier Research Desk is an important item that is used to upgrade appliances in PlateUp. Doing so will eventually help you run the restaurant easily and please the customers better. So without any further ado let’s see how you can use it.

  • First, move the Research Desk beside a Blueprint Cabinet, which you get for free in the early stages of the game.
  • After that, place an upgradable item blueprint in the Blueprint Cabinet.
  • Next, walk up to the Research Desk and interact to upgrade the item.
  • Once the process is finished you’ll have the item in the Cabinet.
  • As soon as you see the item in the Blueprint Cabinet between rounds, simply purchase it and you’ll be good to go.
