Published Date :

Grinding in DMZ mode is not a piece of cake as there are heavily armored AI Soldiers everywhere. But it is worth the risk as the loot you get can be taken outside the mode to the loadout. Different regions of the map hide different resources which can be extracted by completing missions or simply by exploring. On several occasions, you will find some locked buildings or caches requiring a key to open. There are multiple keys in this game and many of us may be unsure about where and how to use them in Warzone 2’s DMZ mode. Well, this guide got you covered as here we will be breaking down about using the keys in DMZ mode. Make sure to read till the end.

How to use Keys in DMZ Mode of Warzone 2 [Explained]

How To Use Keys In Warzone 2 DMZ

Unlike Stronghold Keycards which are specifically used for accessing Strongholds, there are some other keys scattered across the map. As mentioned above, such keys are used for opening locked buildings and caches. Once you pick up a Key, you will know where to use it as it displays a reference. For example, if you pick up a Retro Runaway Fridge Key, it will give a reference of its usability at Retro Fridge discarded on the AI Malik Runway or somewhere else. Moreover, the 3 dashes near a key’s symbol in the inventory indicate how many times it can be used further.

Police Academy keys are the easiest ones to find and use as they are located in the same area as the building. The only hint to use the keys in DMZ mode of Warzone 2 is using the reference of the location while picking them up.

That’s all covered for using the Keys in Warzone 2 DMZ mode. Meanwhile, you are here, make sure to check out our other Warzone 2 guides.
