How to Upgrade & Increase Item Level in Lost Ark?
To increase and upgrade your item level in Lost Ark, you will need to hone your gear. To do so, you will first need to make it to level 50. Once you do so, you need to acquire gear by successfully finishing a few Chaos Dungeon runs. Doing so will allow you to get your hands on gear, after which you can go to a Honing Vendor. You need to go to a Honing Vendor in your town’s crafting district. Once here, speak to the vendor to hone your weapons.
The process of honing a weapon will require 3 materials, and they are Harmony Shards, Stone Fragments, and Harmony Leapstones.
Once you acquire all the necessary materials, you need to head over to the honing UI. Here, you will find an Upgrade button. You will also find an orb here that tells you about the success percentage of the honing process. A honing process that fails will not destroy the item that needs to be upgraded. Instead, all it will do is destroy the materials you used.
