You can upgrade Atreus’ Bow by providing Ydalir Timber to Brok or Sindri. There are three bows in the game, that you can upgrade:

  • Talon Bow
  • Jotnar Bow
  • Aesir Bow

Here is how you can upgrade them all:

Talon Bow

Talon Bow is the default bow you play with at the start of the game. It was made by Faye using the Yew Tree. It increases the Stun for every bow shot or melee attack. In order to level up Talon the Bow you need a total of 11 Ydalir Timber. Here are the resources needed for each upgrade:

  • Level 2: Ydalir Timber x4
  • Level 3: Ydalir Timber x7

Jotnar Bow

Jotnar Bow is the second bow you get in the game. As per the game’s description, it is worthy of a Jotnar champion but is fit for Atreus. The shots from this bow deal increased status damage when using Runic Arrows. Here is what you need to upgrade them:

  • Level 2: Ydalir Timber x4
  • Level 3: Ydalir Timber x7

Aesir Bow

Aesir is the third bow you will get in this game. The game describes it as a bow fit for Asgard. With this bow, you get Ranger’s Resolve. It reduces the cooldown of bow abilities and runic summons. You can also fire regular shots in a burst. In order to upgrade it you will need:

  • Level 2: Ydalir Timber x4
  • Level 3: Ydalir Timber x7
