God Of War Ragnarok: How To Unlock Transmog Gear To Change Appearance

God of War Ragnarok has a plethora of armor items that you can craft or collect. However, some may differ in stats but would sometimes look much better than the ones with high stats. Since players have always wished to be able to change appearance without changing stats, GoW Ragnarok has listened by introducing Transmog. However, since the mechanics of this are still confusing players are wondering how to unlock Transmog in God of War Ragnarok & change appearance. With the arrival of this system, it is recommended that you collect as much armor as you can. Especially the ones that you would like to sport on Kratos. How to Unlock Transmog Gear in God of War Ragnarok

Since the Transmog system allows you to change appearance, players often wonder if they can change anything other than Armor. At the time of writing, only the Armor can be changed or basically the cosmetic appearance of the Armor. Since you can only change into other Armor in your inventory don’t get to selling items just yet.

To unlock Transmog & change appearance in God of War Ragnarok, you simply have to upgrade an armor piece to level 9 at the Blacksmith. This will open the doors for the Transmog to work and you will be able to sport any armor piece.

How to Change Appearance in God of War Ragnarok

Once you unlock Transmog, changing appearance is a piece of cake in God of War Ragnarok. While in the Characters Menu, select the Level 9 armor you want to change and then press Square. This will open the menu to Edit Appearance and you can choose other armor pieces from your Inventory. However, this only works with matching armor types.
