How To Unlock Tank In Far Cry 6 – Call Anytime From Vehicle Checkpoint

While capturing checkpoints and bases nothing is better than a tank. You can in the instant turn things in your favor and blow up buildings and other stuff. Far Cry 6 has vehicle checkpoints, these are spots from where you can always call a car to ride. By default, every car has a turret, but not as awesome as a tank. You can unlock a military tank which will be available at one of these checkpoints. You can call them anytime and complete your mission faster. In this guide, I am going to help you with how to unlock tanks in the FC6.

How to Unlock Tank?

There are two steps to unlock Tank in Far Cry 6. First to capture a checkpoint and then talk to the NPC who will give you an FND Military Base Target. Capture it and you will always have a tank parked at this spot. You can call it from other vehicle checkpoints also.

  • Capture the Nogal River checkpoint and then talk to the NPC.
  • She will give you multiple tasks, you will have to wait for FND 2d Armored Division Military Target.
  • Capture it and then drive the tank to the vehicle checkpoint stand.

Refer to the map images above and pointers to reach the above base. It will not be an easy fight, you will have to deal with multiple waves of enemies. Make sure you have a rocket launcher to destroy tanks fast. Also, there is a sniper on the west side high on the mountains. After capturing the base just walk around and you will spot a parked tank. Drive it to the vehicle pickup point, towards the payphone.

It will be added to your vehicle list, and you can all a tank anytime from vehicle pickup points. This is how you can unlock the tank in Far Cry 6. You can use it to capture nearby FND bases, checkpoints, etc. Due to its explosive power and machine gun, it is easy to take down bigger targets.
