You will be able to unlock Specializations in Diablo 4 after reaching Level 15 and completing a Rogue-specific quest. The quest is called True Potential where you will be introduced to all of Rogue’s abilities. The quest ultimately ends with a mini-boss fight. You will get the first Rogue Specialization at Level 15, the second at Level 20, and the third one at Level 30.

The three Diablo 4 Rogue Specializations are Combo Points, Inner Sight, and Preparation. Here is how each Specialization works.

  • Combo Points (Level 15)

Combo Points can be used to enhance any Core Skill of the Rogue class. You can earn them by using any Basic or Core skills. After collecting three Combo Points, you will be able to use an upgraded version of any Core Skill. This makes Combo Points one of the best Rogue Specializations during Diablo 4 early-game.

  • Inner Sight (Level 20)

Inner Sight helps you mark a random enemy and hit them to build your Inner Sight Gauge. Once the gauge reaches full capacity, it will give your Rogue character unlimited Energy for four seconds. Inner Sight is one of the most useful Rogue Specializations that you can use.

  • Preparation (Level 30)

Preparation will help you use your Ultimate Skill more frequently as you keep spending more Energy. Moreover, using an Ultimate Skill will reduce the cooldown timer for all your other skills. This makes Preparation one of the most overpowered Rogue Specializations in Diablo 4.
