This is the first appearance of Rosalina as a playable character in a mainstream Mario game. She can use the power-ups like other characters in the game. Get your hands on this character by following these steps:

  • To unlock Rosalina as a playable character in this game, you must play through all the worlds. There are 6 worlds in the game.
  • Following the completion of these six worlds, you’ll unlock two boss worlds. They are Castle World and Bowser’s World.
  • Once, you defeat Bowser (the final boss), go through the end credits.
  • Head back to World 1, where the game starts. You’ll notice a difference there. There is a structure made from bricks right next to the island covered with Sprixie Princesses.
  • Get close to the structure to begin a cut-scene. A rocket emerges out of the structure. Use it to fly into Space.
  • Defeating Bowser unlocked four bonus worlds. They are World Star, World Mushroom, World Flower, and World Crown.
  • You are in the World Star now after using the rocket.
  • There is a total of 9 levels in the World Star. At the end of the 2nd Level, you’ll notice that Rosalina and Luma are waiting for you near the flag pole.
  • As the 2nd level completes, the Rosalina gets officially unlocked.

That is how you unlock Rosalina in Super Mario 3D World. If you found this article helpful, then make sure to check out our Super Mario 3D World guides.
