How To Unlock Relic Skill Tree In Cyberpunk 2077

How To Unlock Relic Skill Tree In Cyberpunk 2077

The Relic skill tree is a new addition in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty. Unlike the regular attribute and perk point progression system, this skill tree uses a separate currency called Relic Points to upgrade abilities. Once the skill tree is unlocked, you can spend collected Relic Points to purchase new cyberware upgrades, combat abilities, and other bonuses. We’ll explain how to unlock the Relic skill tree in Cyberpunk 2077.

Relic Skill Tree in Cyberpunk 2077 Explained

How To Unlock Relic Skill Tree In Cyberpunk 2077

The Relic skill tree in Cyberpunk 2077 becomes available after progressing through the main story questline in the Phantom Liberty expansion. You will meet Songbird at the Dogtown border during the Dog Eat Dog quest. Songbird will work on disabling Johnny Silverhand from your malfunctioning biochip, which automatically unlocks the Relic skill tree.

To start gaining Relic skill points needed to unlock skills, you will initially receive a couple of points from Songbird. From there, you need to explore Dogtown and locate the yellow suitcase-like Militech Data Terminals hidden around the area. Interacting with these terminals will award you with Relic points. Make sure to thoroughly search every nook and cranny to find all the terminals, as they are not marked on your map.

Each of the three skill trees (Jailbreak, Emergency Cloaking, Vulnerability Analytics) requires 3 Relic points to unlock the base skill. Subsequent skills in those trees then only cost 1 point each. Skills provide powerful upgrades to your cyberware abilities.

    Jailbreak Tree

    • Jailbreak – Upgrades Projectile Launch System to fire 5 projectiles at once. A fully charged Gorilla Arms attack creates a massive shockwave. Extends Mantis Blade range to over 30 meters.
    • Spatial Mapping – Attacks with Mantis Blades increase damage and the chance of dismemberment for 10 seconds.
    • Limiter Removal – Gorilla Arms shockwave destroys everything in range.
    • Launch Capacity Override – Increases the number of Projectile Launch System charges.
    • Data Tunneling – Allows quick hacking enemies for access and control.

    Emergency Cloaking Tree

    • Emergency Cloaking – Allows fleeing combat by equipping Optical Camo quick slot item.
    • Sensory Protocol – Flee combat when detected while crouching.

    Vulnerability Analytics

    • Vulnerability Analytics – Exploit enemy weaknesses for increased critical damage and armor penetration. Allows 3m EMP blast on hitting weakness.
    • Machine Learning – Increased critical damage frequency and spotting new weaknesses. Base effect stacks up to 5 times.
