In Sonic Mania, the only way to access an Act Select or Level Select Menu is by completing the entire game once. Although, this method is a bit lengthy and may take lots of time for some of the players. If you are looking to unlock the Level Select screen in Sonic Mania, then this guide is all you need. How to Access Level Select in Sonia Mania on Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, & PC?
To access the Level Select menu, players are required to unlock the Debug Mode. Now, for those who don’t know, Debug Mode is unlocked once after you have earned 16x Medallions from the Bonus Stages. This will make the Debug Mode available as a feature in Game Options from where you can Toggle it On/Off whenever you want. Anyways, once you have the Debug Mode On, head over to the Mania Mode and hover over the No Save Option.
After that, hold the following buttons on your respective devices to access Level Select in Sonia Mania:
- On PlayStation – Press and Hold the Square + Options keys.
- On Xbox – Press and Hold X + Menu keys.
- On Nintendo Switch – Press and Hold Y & + keys together.
- On PC – Press and hold the Q + A keys.
Further, use the Analog Stick or Arrow Keys to select a Stage in the Level Select Menu of Sonic Mania. To select a character press Triangle (PS), Y(Xbox), X(Switch), and W (PC).
Earlier, the steps to enable Level Select in Sonic Mania were quite different. It featured pressing a combination of keys on the Title Screen before the “Press Any Button” prompt pops out. However, this method was patched out as of update version 1.03.
