How to Unlock Ghost Perk in Modern Warfare 2
The Perk system in Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer allows you to select custom perks according to your playstyle. These perks can either give you information, take away information from your enemies or give you a buff. The Ghost perk in MW2 is very useful as it makes you undetectable by UAVs, Portable Radars, and Heartbeat Sensors. You don’t have to worry about popping up on your enemy’s minimap or a random missile aimed at you. So how do you get this perk?
Well, there are two ways to get it. You can unlock Ghost Perk in Modern Warfare 2 by grinding and reaching Rank 52 or you get it right away using the Preset Load-out available in the game. To use this perk via preset:
- Head over to Weapon on the Homescreen
- Then click on Multiplayer Loadout
- Choose any Custom Loadout
- Then go to Perk Package
- There, select Phantom as your Preset Package
- You will find the Ultimate Perk Ghost there
Now, the issue with this method is that you will not be able to customize your Perk Package. The other way is just grinding it out till Rank 52 and then you can add this perk to your custom load-outs.
Another change in the Perk system is that the perks won’t be active from the beginning. To activate the Ghost Perk, you will have to wait for 8 minutes into the match. However, you can reduce the time by getting kills, assists, and completing objectives.
